On Thursday 2 March we celebrated World Book Day and John Harris the storyteller returned and regaled the children with stories from all over the world.

We also had a fancy dress competition and a fantastic effort was made by pupils and teachers alike. Particularly outstanding costumes included Mr Maxwell’s Old Man and the Sea, Charlie Brock’s Poirot and Christian Willshire’s Ironman. Well done to all parents and house parents for the behind-the-scenes work and thank you to those pupils who created such amazing costumes from scratch.
