Ten Year 7 pupils achieve top 10% scores in the country at Bebras Challenge
Year 7 pupils Emery Taylor and Willow Walsh led the top Millfield Prep results at the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge. Over 141,000 pupils nationwide enter the competition, with 40,000 in the category entered by Millfield Prep.
The nationwide competition sees entrants solve problems relating to concepts in computer science. Ninety-four Millfield Prep pupils entered the competition, with 25 gaining distinction and 23 a merit. Emery and Willow each scored 162 out of 200, making them both ‘Best in School’ amongst our entrants.
