Third place finishes at National Schools Trampolining Finals

A group of boys and girls competed in the National Schools Finals in the U11 girls, U11 boys and individual categories.

The nine pupils competed across the intermediate and elite levels with the girl’s team, made up of Lucy Champion, Matilda Johnson, Maia Giaretta and Amelie Whatling, finishing fourth. The girls competed well with no major errors in either their compulsory or voluntary routines. The boy’s team of Will Morgan-Hughes, Brychan James, Pierre Joubert and Krijn Smits also competed well and were tied for 3rd place before the final routine by Pierre put the team 0.2 ahead to secure a well-deserved third place for the boys.

Ellis James, who was competing in the individual elite level, started well and after the compulsory round was in third place. Ellis ended the day in ninth after a challenging voluntary round.
