Religious Studies hones analytical and debating skills and gives pupils the opportunity to explore opposing views in a respectful and non-confessional environment. Our six Religious Studies teachers are energetic and enterprising. Lessons allow pupils to investigate diverse areas such as comparative religion, contemporary issues, philosophy and ethics.

Academic enrichment and trips:
Speakers on Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Ethics and Philosophy of Religion visit Millfield to offer presentations and insight, and to facilitate debate with groups of pupils. Several prestigious essay competitions run throughout the year which pupils have the opportunity to enter. Additionally, we offer visits to relevant places of worship for those who opt to take GCSE or A Level.
